up at 6 am for 7 am doctor’s appointment, followed by class until 2 pm.
then a visit to 2 hospitals:
first hospital: had blood drawn by someone whose name tag said “trainee phlebotomist” (4th time’s the charm!).
second hospital: sneezed on by a sick baby in the lift, then told to come back in 11 weeks.
next came a surprise hail shower, a lost oyster card and a minor car accident during the taxi ride home. i should probably go to sleep immediately to cut my losses.
the fact that the Acela has free wi-fi now makes me feel that my life has improved by at least 4%. if i were actually in the US right now that number would probably go as high as 12%.
this is absolutely terrible. ARGHHHHHHHHHH.
it’s nice to get these little reminders of home from time to time.
i want to meet the person who thought this sign was a good idea, or at least thought that no one would find out about it outside SNCF. i want to meet them so i know how not to live my life.
